The Political Review at Florida State University is Florida State’s entirely student-run nonpartisan outlet for political journalism. Founded in 2022, PRFSU brings high-quality reporting on state, national, and international politics to Tallahassee.

Home to over 65 staffers, PRFSU is grateful for the support of Florida State University, allowing the organization to promote complex political discourse.

The Story of the Political Review at Florida State University

In the fall of 2022, a group of students united around a passion for nonpartisan political dialogue. They wanted to bring a political journalism outlet to Tallahassee, staffed by some of the best writers on campus.

Over the coming weeks, the team worked hard to source a staff of 24 students and craft an organization that would work tirelessly in the spring. Over 100 articles later, PRFSU has become a well-respected student publication, becoming the largest nonpartisan student newspaper in Florida. Our team has grown into an institution, and we are excited to improve upon the PRFSU tradition in the future.
