Staff Writers
Staff writers contribute two in-depth, analytical, and well-researched articles each semester on topics of their choice. Writers collaborate within sections of approximately four editors and eight writers. During the production cycle, they participate in pitch meetings to develop article ideas and work closely with editors to refine drafts. Published articles appear on the PRFSU website and social media platforms. Articles may also include custom graphics or illustrations created by the Creative Board.

Copy Editors
Copy editors play a critical role in upholding the integrity of PRFSU by verifying the accuracy of information and ensuring it is supported by reliable sources. They also edit articles to align with the PRFSU style guide and guarantee all content is plagiarism-free. Copy editors typically commit 1–3 hours per week to live edits, with additional responsibilities during production cycles.

Prior writing or copy-editing experience is prefered for this role.

Business Associates
Business Board Associates oversee PRFSU’s operational and financial activities, manage events, and handle external outreach. Responsibilities include pitching advertisements to local businesses, running PRFSU’s social media accounts, managing alumni relations, producing newsletters, organizing events (such as guest speakers and formal gatherings), and leading media campaigns.
